A Relevant story about the Founder Dr James Claus
Dr Claus is not only the founder of the Signage foundation but a graduate of Stanford University, and a associate professor at the University of British Columbia. During the late 1960’s, the Canadian government looking to purchase land for development. The problem was a business was already on the site. It was a gas station that the government valued it and the land at $75,000. The owner argued this amount saying it was worth several times that amount! The government brought in Dr Claus as an independent expert. They asked Dr Claus to determine an equitable value of the property. In his research, Dr Claus discovered that the gas station pumped more than 8 times the amount of fuel that other stations in the area were pumping.
